Forest Pines is arguably the premier golf hotel in Lincolnshire, its challenging fairways and greens seamlessly rolling through a natural canvas of ancient woods and wild heathland. Forest Pines was designed by PGA Senior Tour player John Morgan. The stunning 27-hole course twists and turns its way through majestic pines and into open heathland, providing three magnificent loops of nine holes.

Since it opened a decade ago, Forest Pines Golf Course has picked up a whole host of golf course awards and accolades, including fifth spot in this magazine's Top 100 2-FORE!-1 Golf Courses poll in 2006, and no wonder. Forest Pines Golf Course is a revelation: the Woburn lookalike looks and feels like it's been here forever.

There are three loops of nine (the Forest and Pines is the main golf course, ably supported by the Beeches nine) but whichever loop you're tackling, you'll need to keep the ball arrow-straight, particularly off the tee, to keep it out of the tall timber lining most fairways.
