Course information

Thorpeness Golf Club features one of the finest golf courses in East Anglia, designed by the legendary James Braid in 1922. It is a coastal heathland golf course, less than half a mile from the sea winding through silver birch trees, gorse and heather. On the last tee the line is the 'House in the clouds' - surely one of the world's tallest holiday homes.

This challenging James Braid heathland track is just a thumping drive from the coast so although fairly short, it is capable of causing plenty of golfing grief when the wind is blowing. In addition, strategically-placed fairway bunkers make the course tougher and tighter and there’s plenty of gorse bushes also waiting to snaffle wayward strikes. Top value, particularly in 2-FORE!-1.
