Course information

De Vere Mottram Hall is a golfing paradise! The facility boasts an 18 hole Championship, par 72 parkland/woodland course that opened in 1991. The layout was designed by former PGA Captain and Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas, the renowned architect of world famous layouts such as the Brabazon at The Belfry and Slaley Hall in Northumberland.

The golf course is well established and has matured fully since opening. The front nine is set in attractive parkland, whilst the back nine weaves its way through more demanding woodland, representing a challenge for all standards of golfer. Stretching to over 7,000 yards from the Championship tees, the golf course has staged a host of PGA professional events, and also the Kellogg’s Ladies British Masters in 2000 and 2001 – won by Solheim Cup stalwarts Trish Johnson and Paula Marti. The gholf course is sand based and drains well. Therefore, you are virtually guaranteed golf even in the wettest of winter months.

The facility also incorporates a driving range, chipping area, two putting greens, and a fleet of 26 buggies complete with state of the art ‘Satellite Navigation’ technology. Plus, our recently refurbished Clubhouse provides the perfect location to relax either before, or following, your round!
