Out of the Royals I would have Birkdale at top, other courses it's got to be Formby Hall - great facilities.

Anyway found a good site with reviews on etc for this area - Birkdale ranked 1st last time i checked www.northcoastgolf.co.uk

Have you played Lytham & St Annes yet? and if so what was it like.

Lytham & St Annes is a great golf course, not the longest but will give you a good challenge

I just booked up to play at west Lancs and Royal Birkdale in May ....staying in a great looking place in Liverpool that i booked up through a friends new accomodation website that he's only just built......www.stay2playgolf.com

Anyway has anybody played west Lancs recently?
