Motocaddy Or Powakaddy

Hi all,
I am looking into getting a push/pull trolley and i am thinking about getting either one of the powakaddy twinline models ( 1 or 3 If someone can point out the difference) or the motocaddy s1 lite.

Does anyone have any of these trolleys if so what do you think?

I currently use a stand bag so i am going to get a cart bag as well if i am going to get one of these trolleys am i better going with the same make for a cart bag ??.

A friend of mine uses a motocaddy and swears by it so cant be bad but i use a power bug its very similar to the powakaddy but for a fraction of the price never had any troubles with it although the new powakaddy (white) does look the nuts.

Cobra SS forged irons,Snake eyes viper tour driver,Cobra f speed 3 wood ,cobra baffler,Taylor made rossa spider putter,Cobra 10.5 tour bag, power bug.

powa!

You hear all this stuff about powacaddy being on its knees and there are lots of cheaper versions out there. Motocaddy come aliong and do a better trolley that is much cheaper. BUTI have had my Powacaddy trolley for four years now and it is still brilliant. The 18 hole battery can do 36, I have hardly ever cleaned it or maintained it - yet it has never let me down. You just can';t beat that! can you?

RE

Everywhere i read i see that both trolleys have a locking system with their own makes of bags.

Would anyone recommend motocaddy's bag or Powacaddy's bag or go for another make ?

Re: Motocaddy Or Powakaddy

Hi,  I have got the Motocaddy s3 which i have had for about 18 months and I love it.  I did have a problem with the battery losing charge a few months ago and Motocaddy sent me a replacement witout charge the day after I reported this problem to them.  I also recently purchased the new cart bag from motocaddy and it does exactly what its designed for so have no complaints.

My club is littered with Powacaddy trolleys and have always liked to be a little different and mine is easy to spot amongst these inferior aliens ! !

Re: Motocaddy Or Powakaddy

I have had a Powacaddy Freeway Compact (the original version) for 3 years and it was already about 5 years old when I bought it second hand - first problem last month when the clutches had to be replaced.  I call that reliable!

I bought a Powacaddy bag but it was no better that the rest - it still twisted as the round went on.  Maybe the later bags/trollies have been improved.
