One of the most visually striking new putters we've seen is Odyssey's brand new White Hot XG Sabertooth Putter. This design is almost frightening to look at but at its heart lies a soft insert which produces buttery soft feel.

The Sabretooth's high-density dual fangs position more weight to the sides to help keep the putter head online during the stroke. Aiming channels in the dual fangs make alignment easier and the multi-layer White Hot XG insert, which Odyssey claim to be their most popular and most responsive, generates incredibly soft feel with fine-tuned responsiveness.

I used this putter for 9 holes at Championsgate and although I didn't hole very much of note, I did feel that my consistency improved and I really enjoyed the feel and distance control.

The Sabretooth roars into golf shops this Spring and will cost £109.
