We've long been talking up the brilliance of custom-fitting in every department of your game - and Nick Dougherty's recent victory helps illustrate that perfectly!

The amiable Englishman stole the headlines with victory at the BMW International Open last week - just a fortnight after visiting Callaway's putter lab where he made use of the state-of-the-art Science and Motion technology to help fine-tune his putting performance.

Dougherty, a Callaway staffer, averaged just 1.579 putts per green in regulation and 26.7 putts per round over the four days using his newly-fitted Odyssey White Hot XG #7 centre-shafted wand.

After his triumph, Dougherty commented: "I'd worked with the guys at Callaway on my putting before the tournament and I was really all confident all week. Coming down the stretch I knew I could rely 100% on my putter."
