Getting a warm, water-repellent golf sweater isn't always an easy task, but now ProQuip might well have solved the problem with their new knitwear range.

The new clothing utilises a special water-repellent finish that results in light rain beading off the surface and is believed to be the first to be manufactured using 100% British lambswool - and not only that, but the new product is machine-washable!

While water repellent lambswool garments have previously been available for a variety of outdoor sports and pursuits, this is the first time such a high quality yarn and knit has been produced with total easy care, said ProQuip MD Richard Head.

“You can conveniently machine wash and tumble dry this garment safe in the knowledge that it will come out looking and feeling as good as new – it will also continue to perform and resist rain showers, keeping you dry and comfortable.”

The garment comes in a variety of colours and retail at £49 in the crew-neck and vee-neck versions and £46 in the slipover model. For more details on ProQuip apparel, please visit www.proquipgolf.com
