Ernie Els fired an impressive 68 in the opening round of the BMW Championship at Wentworth in Surrey.
The easy-going South African is just two shots off the lead as he attempts to win the European Tour's biggest event of the year. There is extra pressure on Els as it's effectively his 'home' course.
His house (or one of them) backs onto one of the fairways and he has directed many changes to the West Course over recent years. He's made it harder and longer.
He said: "I get a lot of comments from players. Mostly positive. But I can tell you one thing, I won't be putting any more bunkers in!"
He had a sketchy front nine, but came home in 32 and is now four under, one shot off the lead. Paul Broadhurst went one better and is at five under, with about half the field still to complete their first round.
Luke Donald came in at one under and Justin Rose is level par after three holes.
