In last month's issue of Today's Golfer magazine we brought you exclusive news of Wilson Staff's D-FY irons with half graphite and half steel shafts.
Well, we've done it again and we're the first to actually get these clubs in our hands to test them out.
The thinking behind these clubs are that they give the game-improving golfer the best of both worlds - the responsiveness of the steel tip in the shafts with the lightweight vibration dampening properties of graphite.
This allows golfers with a slower swing speed to swing the club faster and generate more distance without sacrificing feel or forgiveness.
