Callaway have a terrific heritage in the game when it comes to introducing technologically-packed golf clubs and the FTiZ fairway wood is one of these.

Featuring a four-piece construction, the club has a graphite composite crown to save weight while a heavier face and weight port at the back of the head are designed to aid momentum in the swing and keep the clubface square to target.

This ultimately means you should be able to hit the FTiZ straighter, even when you don't catch the ball out the middle of the clubface.

To put this to the test we sent TG's equipment editor David Connor and features writer Kit Alexander to the range.
