Do you play golf when the course is on winter greens?

The weather hasn't been great recently and more golf courses than ever before have been forced to resort to using winter greens to protect their regular greens for the summer.
Playing on temporary greens can be frustrating but is it enough of a hindrance that it completely stops you from playing golf?
