Lynx joins square driver revolution
Callaway and
Nike started the craze, now Lynx has joined the long list of manufacturers with a square driver.
The Lynx LX² has just been launched in the USA, and as far as we know it isn’t coming to the UK.
The Lynx brand is owned in the States by Golfsmith, which says: “With the new LX² driver, Lynx has perfected the square-shape concept.
“With a radical square geometry and two rearward weights, it has an incredible moment of inertia: 5500 g-cm² - the highest MOI in golf to date.
“The shape helps stop the clubhead from twisting on impact, and the weights shift the clubhead centre of gravity further back than in any other Lynx driver head. That means high launch angles with low spin, as well as greater accuracy and longer distance on off-centre hits. The LX²'s internal design produces a solid, pleasing sound on impact.”
If you think this club should be brought to the UK, click on discuss this below and leave a comment. We'll pass them onto the company representatives in the UK!
