Last year, Mizuno claimed their JPX-800 irons were the most forgiving they had ever made and in our tests this proved true but one significant piece of feedback was that they still featured a relatively compact head, which maybe didn't inspire enough confidence in higher handicappers.

Therefore Mizuno have decided to go all out this year with the JPX-800 HD iron to produce an extreme "super-game improver" iron which features even more forgiveness than the JPX-800 and is packaged in a bigger clubhead for more confidence at address.

It means Mizuno are now well represented in every category of iron, giving golfers more choice than ever before - particularly at the higher end of the handicap scale.
