It's safe to say that Mizuno are best known for their stunning bladed irons and therefore the new MP-69 irons were hotly anticipated this year.

They have been designed with more "helpful" trajectories in the longer irons but these are still very much for the skilled player who places feel and workability above all else.

You can get the lowdown on the MP-69 blades in the current issue of Today's Golfer magazine, on sale now, and we'll have more information coming to the website soon.

But for now we came across this video below with Chris Voshall from Mizuno's R&D department, which gives a great insight into the thinking behind the new design.
