Course information

Sheer unadulturated class. That's exclusive Stoke Park - on and off the golf course. It's literally the home of the stars: as a film location, Stoke Park has played host to the most memorable game of golf in cinema history, when James Bond defeated Goldfinger on the 18th green in Goldfinger (1964). Goldfinger was the first of two Bond films to be shot at Stoke Park, the second being Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). Among its celebrity members are actor Hugh Grant and TV presenter Vernon Kay.

The golf course was designed by Harry Shapland Colt in 1908 and offers 27 holes of spectacular parkland golf, the three nine hole loops being Colt (1-9), Alison (10-18) and Lane Jackson (19-27).

Style is the name of the game off-course too as Stoke Park boasts arguably one of the finest, most impressive clubhouses you'll find anywhere in the world.

Stay & Play: There's 21 luxury rooms on site as well as a sumptuous Spa.

Golf World Expert Review

James Bond's Goldfinger was filmed here and the magnificent grounds and clubhouse are simply unforgettable. Say no more...

Today's Golfer Expert Review

As soon as you drive through the gates, you know you’re in for something special. The imposing clubhouse – which starred in James Bond’s Goldfinger – overlooks three lots of nine (we played the Colt and the Alison), all of which are immaculately kept. It’s a classy experience, from the manicured fairways and greens to the fantastic changing rooms. Be sure to check out the Goldfinger memorabilia in the clubhouse. There's a host of star hole contenders but the par-3 7th on the Colt just about shades it. Word of warning: Though the winter green fee is an absolute bargain, you’ll need deep pockets if you spend much time in the clubhouse (our bacon bap and coffee cost almost £8).
