In many ways, TaylorMade’s Burner bag is pretty unspectacular. It only has five pockets, for instance, and could be seen as reasonably garish in design terms. It certainly wasn’t the allsinging, all-dancing bag we hoped for. But these first impressions were misleading and the proof was most definitely in the eating of the pudding!

Once we had used it, we realised there was a lot to commend it. In the end, what made this a winner for us was the comfort. It was up there with the offering from Ogio as the easiest bag on test to carry.
