Ashworth has a great name for making decent apparel, and this attempt at a waterproof suit is pretty decent. You’ll find the fabric more scratchy and noisy than some – sounding like a marching army pounding the fairway is not everyone’s idea of fun. But as a rounded product, which includes most features you’d expect of a golf waterproof suit, including a generous size and a very good three-year waterproof guarantee, you could do a lot worse. Without the option for removing full or half-sleeves, it almost feels like Ashworth has missed a trick to get our attention over the competition.
