MD Golf has been one of the brands of 2008, and the new 2009 gear looks set to impress too.

The boys from Northern Ireland shipped us over a couple of their MD Golf Superstrong Fairway woods and we were instantly taken with them.

Made in a traditional round head shape, as well as a square and offset offering, the woods feature a shallower clubface and a more compact head which promote a super nice strike off even the tightest off lies, as well as off the tee.

2009 Review

Our team were the first in Britain to hit the MD Golf Superstrong F3 Fairway woods. In performance terms they were well received with Chris N in particular loving the power, adaptability and, most importantly, the price. Pro Chris rated the shallow face and the high ball flight, which made this the longest club on test for him. Kit felt it was a good all-rounder and enjoyed the way it looked behind the ball while George said it was above average across the board. MD continues to impress.
