A super budget irons buy, the Howson GBH Attacker is great for those new to the game, and at £100 for a set it’s unbeatable value. Reasonable feel and performance, low, deep weighting, low-profile heads and a soft shaft make it simple to launch the golf ball high and reasonably long. Obviously not a club which established golfers will turn to, but for a beginner you simply can’t go wrong.
