Golf equipment review for the Seve Icon OS Game Improvement Irons
Like Spanish hero Ballesteros, these irons looked every other club in the eye, and won most battles. Looks-wise, our team weren’t convinced by the chunky set-up, but who cares about looks when you’ve got performance like this? With an average dispersion stat of under 10 yards, the Icon iron was pinpoint accurate in the hands of our testers, and the boys loved the forgiveness too. Craig found them hard to hit badly, while Colin also found them very easy to use. Oh, and for less than £250, these really are an essential purchase for people not wanting to spend a footballer’s daily wage on a set of golf clubs.
