The UK’s best selling two-piece ball has been around for a few years now but it has undergone an upgrade for 2011. This upgrade includes a thinner cover for better feel, a larger core for faster ball speeds and lower driver spin and improved aerodynamics for better performance in all weather. The ball is designed to offer all the distance, feel and spin performance that an amateur golfer is looking for at a price that won’t break the bank and the sales figures confirm that’s what it delivers. This was a real favourite for our testers. Edward achieved cracking distance off the tee (253 yards) as well as impressive spin rates when we looked at the statistics. Mark felt it was one of the category’s more forgiving balls because even if he didn’t really catch a drive, he still achieved a reasonable carry distance.
A Srixon spokesperson said “ We have made the new AD333 a better ball for the everyday golfer by re engineering the cover and core and applying new aerodynamics that all combine to give optimal performance.
