Previously Mizuno had a tie-up with master craftsman Bob Bettinardi, but 2011 sees them produce their own flatsticks in the form of the Line 90 series. It’s all about a sequence of lines placed parallel to the putter face which are positioned using a stainless steel medallion above the blade. In-house testing showed the system made it easier for golfers to imagine the “straight back” alignment, which has massive benefits on the follow-through.
