The bottom of the Tad Moore HotBlade’s face has been cut away in a bid to improve the amount of topspin transferred to putts.
But we had a tendency to top putts into the green, instead of rolling them smoothly across the surface, so we reckon the theory is more of a gimmick than proven, useful putter technology.
The design has the look of an old Wilson TPA, with clearly defined sight lines, along with a big, soft-feel grip and good weight. But we reckon there are better putters available for less.
