Adams – the number one hybrid on the PGA Tour – has unveiled a third-generation of metalwoods with distance-generating slots in the sole and crown. The Super LS features “Velocity Slot Technology”, to create a spring-like effect on the face which is at or close to the R&A limit. “The Super LS Hybrid is our best hybrid to date,” said Tim Reed, Vice President of R&D for Adams Golf. “Exceptional performance was the goal, and with the advancements in Velocity Slot Technology, combined with the multi-material construction, we’ve been able to produce that. This hybrid will do more than replace the hybrids currently in the bag; it will have golfers questioning if they need a fairway wood.” The new slot sole gives both clubs a hotter face for greater ball speed and distance, while the slot on the crown increases launch angle without generating more spin.
