Review from the magazine

TG rating Rating: 4

As one of the highest flying and spinning golf clubs on test, we reckon it’s possible to use the Cleveland HiBore just like a mid-iron, stopping balls sharply on greens.

Just as impressive is the way the club doesn’t lose distance despite launching shots high. For us, a rescue club’s job is to make a certain area of the game more accessible, just like big-headed drivers have over the last 10 years.

The Cleveland HiBore has this type of appeal over a long iron in bundles: it doesn’t matter where you want to use it, we guarantee it is easier to hit than a long iron.

And with Cleveland offering such a great range of lofts, it’s possible to replace every golf club in your bag down to the 6-iron with a rescue club, which just goes to show how much Cleveland believes in the benefits of its products.
