Do you fat or thin your bunker shots?
Nick Bradley has a simple drill you can use to learn to strike the golf ball precisely from sand. All you need to do is practice swinging the golf club in your right hand only and listen to the sound of the club striking the sand.
When it starts to just skim across the surface of the sand you've cracked it. Simply repeat this technique with both hands gripping the golf club and your strikes should be pure.
Step One:
Stand along side the ball and initially swing continuously with your right arm.
Step Two:
The swing may start to feel heavy in parts, you can correct this by taking it slightly wider on the way back, this will encourage you to shallow out on the way through.
Step Three:
Make your shot, still with the club in one just one arm.
