THREE COMMON FAIRWAY WOOD FAULTS

1 - THE DUFF
The duff occurs when the golfer hits the ground too early. This happens because the golfer is trying to lift the ball too much. Instead of focusing on hitting the ball up, they have to hit the ball out. Trust the loft on your wood - it's what it's there for.

2 - BALL POSITION
Similar to the duff, this happens because golfers are trying to lift the ball too much so they put the ball further back in their stance. This makes you hit down, rather than out. Even though this means you won't hit the ground, you won't get much power into the shot, either.

3 - THE TOP
This occurs when you stand completely still during the shot. By relaxing your posture and feeding yourself into he shot, you're sure to get better results.  Rate My SwingGear ReviewsBook Tee Times
