Links courses traditionally have very large greens, which means there will be a number of different pin positions to aim for. Judging how far to strike a ball at the front of the green as well as the back can be difficult.

In this video, Dan Frost demonstrates how hitting the ball higher will help you reach a flag at the front of the green.

Ball and feet positioning are important in helping to hit the ball higher. Creating an 'L' shape through to the finish will encourage a confident up swing and lead the ball to the front pin.
