Survey the hole when putting

Only looking at the line of long putts from behind the ball doesn’t give you the information you need the most. Remember, as the ball slows down it is affected by gravity much more, meaning it will take more break.

So the next time your faced with a long putt, take some time (providing you’re not holding up play) to survey the slopes around the hole, as TG Elite Pro Adrian Fryer explains in this video tip.
