Drive It Straight

If you're suffering from hitting slices or pulls with your driver, here's a great way to lower your scores.
Assuming that you've got the grip, stance and ball position correct, start the backswing low and slow, keeping your right knee flexed and in position and your right elbow tucked-in against your right side.
Now, here's the bit that's going to make the difference. Keeping the grip and arms really loose, as you start the downswing feel as though you're uncoiling your right arm towards the ball, so the elbow first, then the forearm, then the wrist. Try to keep the chest facing the ball at impact.
The next step is really easy - just walk 300 yards straight down the middle of the fairway to your ball!
It makes a huge difference if you practise this in slow motion a few times before each drive, so you start to build muscle memory and can see the club head tracking from in to out.
