My golf tip is a simple reminder to ensure a player who is asked to move his golf ball marker on the green always replaces his golf ball correctly.

I use a magnetic flat marker and I have marked the reverse with an arrow. If asked to move off a fellow players line I turn it over and point the arrow in the direction it has to be moved back.

All you need to remember is the number of clubheads it was moved.

If you use a marker with a spike the arrow can be put on the top surface but pointed straight towards the hole when first marking the ball and turned if one has to move off someones line.

If a small glove marker is used, I suggest that it is replaced with a different one with an arrow when asked to move it.
