one of the main causes of a badly struck golf shot is either a slice or hook. This happens when you take the golf club back and  many golfer turn there wrist over instead of making sure the glove logo stays in front facing straight ahead. By turning the hands it  opens the club face and makes it difficult to bring the club down square.
