When playing a chip and run shot we are encouraged to try and help to get the ball in the air. However, quite often the back of the left hand collapses and instead of helping to get some height on the ball, it ends up skimming along the green.

A great way of curing this fault is to use two clubs as a guide through the swing to get a feel for the chip and run shot.
