Hardelot Golf Club (Les Pins Course)

What we say

Short by today’s standards, but it’s still a great favourite with UK golfers. A Tom Simpson design from the 1930s so it has a very English feel. While length is not required, accuracy is, whether threading a long iron off the tee or finding well-bunkered greens. There is enormous pressure from other French courses – the links at Granville, the tranquility of Les Aisses and the Major-hosting quality of Evian – but Hardelot’s conditioning has continued to improve since 2011.
