The Duke’s belongs to the Old Course Hotel and is a nice alternative to the links in the area. It was initially designed by Open legend Peter Thomson, but was astutely refurbished by Tim Liddy, who has worked closely with Pete Dye. Overall, it now has the feel of a heathland course which has been there for years, with several elevated tees which benefit from some stunning views down to the Auld Grey Toun.
