Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club – Priors Course

What we say

Of the two courses Stapleford Abbots has to offer, the Priors is the slightly easier test of golf.

It's not a walk-over by any means though and the well-manicured and well-sculpted mounds and fairways provide a different set of challenges compared to the Abbots course.

The testing, well looked after greens make this a challenging course for any level of golfer.

After the game, you can relax in the clubhouse that overlooks the course.

I have a 2 handicap, so the course wasnt a big test for me, but it was a very enjoyable round of golf at this public course. There are some great holes on this course and as it has 5 par 5`s you can produce a decent score. the best thing about this course is it`s a real confidence boost. The M25 runs alongside the 11th, 12th and behind the 13th tee. It`s not as noisy as you think it might be. I recommend anyone of all standards to go play this course as its a great day out and its affordable to.

A great course, and great value for money. Attached to the Abbots Course, the course is kept in great condition all year round. The greens are excellent whatever the weather. Some really interesting holes, including many with water in play. A tricky finishing hole, short par 3 carrying a pond all the way to the green with o/b behind, has wrecked many a good scorecard. All in all well worth a visit.
