  • 3.5 out of 5 Challenge on a rainy day

    By SK2010

This was a good course to play, 1st hole offers a few problems water, other holes close by and hitting from on high, but all in all it was a good rainy muddy day out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in All a good course to play not sure if ok for a beginner I have a handicap of 30 and found some holes bit hard but if you like a challange worth having a go.

  • 3.5 out of 5 Short but challenging

There is sufficient individuality to make you want to return for another crack! The first tee is a tricky par 3 opener - you tee off from a height down over the river (which intersects several holes) on to a fairly tight green. Very enjoyalbe and at £15 after 3 p.m. is good value. Course can get a bit muddy so best to play it after a dry spell. Very enjoyable
