Bakewell Golf Club

What we say

This nine-hole, 18-tee course offers a testing but enjoyable challenge. It’s over a century old and set in the heart of Peak District country so the scenery is out of this world, Beware the tricky, tiny greens and subtle borrows.

Your Reviews

  • 4 out of 5 A fantastic small course, but pricey!

I loved playing this course, although the lack of a map on the first tee was a little confusing (basically you need to go for the closest flag directly in front of you!). The views on this course are fantastic, and some of the holes are wonderful! In particular I enjoyed the eigth and ninth holes. However, the price per round of £25 is a little steep in my opinion. We played 9 at £15, but to be fair to them they do make clear that they are willing to accept all two for one vouchers and were very friendly when we arrived. They don't accept cards for payment either.
