Humberstone Heights Golf Club

What we say

The Hawtree and Sons-designed Humberstone Heights Golf Club opened in 1977 and is an extremely popular as well as a fast-maturing parkland layout which offers outstanding value for money. It's a decent all-round golfing facility - there's also a 30 bay driving range and a nine-hole pitch and putt course on site.

Your Reviews

  • 2 out of 5 Decent municipal

    By richie_rich

Decent municipal, can be very busy and muddy in Winter. Be prepared to have a long round if stuck behind beginners. Overall best municipal in Leicester, though Western Park runs it close. Better players advised to use 2fore1 vouchers at any of the private clubs, for higher standard of course.

  • 3 out of 5 Decent facilities, but can get wet

    By leastweasel

The course is well laid out and the driving range and pitch and putt are very good. The fairways are fairly wide and the course is generally forgiving. The main bad point is the poor drainage. After a few days of rain this summer about 60% of bunkers were full of water and the course had several areas of standing water. On the bright side, after some of the water dried up I found about 12 golf balls in a single round.
