Kibworth Golf Club

What we say

Kibworth Golf Club has a pleasant, peaceful parkland layout. You’ll find  this neat and tidy golf course in a quaint, quiet corner of rural Leicestershire and though it won’t exactly blow you away, it will test your game to the full: it’s tight – the golf course is set into 125 acres – tree-lined and the small greens mean your approach play needs to be pretty sharp. You also need to be aware of the potentially pesky stream which comes into play on eight holes.

Kibworth Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2004, but underwent major changes in the early 60s with the newlook layout (the existing course) opening in 62.

  • 3.5 out of 5 Great Course

A challenge. Good course management is essential. Unless you're accurate with your driver, it's best kept in your bag but for 3 or 4 of the holes. I look forward to playing Kibworth again.

  • 4.5 out of 5 Good tee shots essential

I'm a relative newcomer to the game but found this a very welcoming course to play. It's flat but actually quite tight so good tee shots are essential.

A super friendly course which welcomes visitors, very flat and very good for seniors.

  • 4.5 out of 5 Looks easier than it is

It looks easier than it is - very few people manage to get the better of Kibworth. They don't beat this course very often.

A friendly, welcoming club and full credit to the greenkeeping staff for keeping it in such excellent condition.

  • 3.5 out of 5 Lovely mature course

Played a day after torrential rain, course was dry and in pretty good condition. Plenty of hazards with a stream running accross several holes. Great value with a 2-4-1 voucher.
