Chorley Golf Club

What we say

Established since 1897, Chorley Golf Club is a challenging and scenic 18 hole course with some of the finest views in Lancashire. In recent times a new irrigation and drainage system has been installed while along another extension to the historical clubhouse was built in 2000/2001 ensuring the golf club's facilities rank among the best in the north west.

The layout of the course is in two loops with starting places at the first and tenth, with the ninth and eighteenth greens close to the clubhouse. When there are two possible starting holes there then came the argument of "Which way round". This still poses questions for members today and will probably continue into the future.

This course represents a wonderful test of golf for a reasonable price. The course is draped over two sides of a hill and therefore presents a considerable challenge especially when the wind is blowing. There are a wonderful variety of holes that keep the course interesting and require the golfer to think their way around the course. The welcome is friendly, with great clubhouse facilities and the food is excellent.
