What we say...
The golf course was in excellent general condition with very fast but true greens. There are so many great holes but the pick of the crop is the par 3 17th: it only plays about 120 yards but when it's to an island green it makes you think twice, specially if you have a few quid riding on the outcome.
You've got to try and negotiate the 130 bunkers on the course - some of them are pretty pointless though and are there purely for aesthetic reasons.

Chart Hills has also been chosen to host the European Tour qualifying school venue and in 2006 hosted the Ladies English Open.

What Golf World says...
Nick Faldo's first European golf course fully lives up to expectations: the bunkering is creative, the design varied and several holes make an indelible impression on the golfer's psyche. Six-times major winner Faldo's idea of an outstanding golf course is as follows: "It should pose a lot of strategic questions, include a number of memorable holes and require you to play a full range of shots." As we say, Chart Hills certainly fits the bill...
