Northwick Park

What we say

Save up to 50% on tee times at Northwick Park, it’s easy to book a tee time on line at Todaysgolfer.co.uk. This modern six-holer is meant to give a taste of The Majors… and it does. The greens are lightning fast and the holes are cleverly designed to bring a taste of some classic holes. A couple of the holes have more than one green to give options of play, but on the 5th one option is Troon’s famous ‘Postage Stamp’. The likeness is uncanny – there’s even the Coffin bunker to catch you out. While the course is very good, it needs a par 5 or at least a long par 4.

The six-hole 'majors' golf course was designed by Peter McEvoy OBE to present a true tournament-level challenge to all golfers, and features some of the fastest greens in England. Each hole has been crafted to replicate - as accurately as possible - six of the best of golf's legendary holes, including Augusta’s beautiful but treacherous 12th and 16th holes and The Belfry’s challenging par four 9th.
Accommodation: The Cumberland Hotel and the Comfort Inn in Harrow.

We played there this week. The course was in good condition. The greens were true if a little slow and the signposting between green and next tee could be improved. The real downside to the course was the bunkers,no sand in most, gravel in some and if you found any sand it was so compacted you could walk in, play your shot and walk out without leaving a mark. The guy in the shop assured us this was being dealt with and if it is and the greens shaved a little more this will be a cracking little course. Off the course there was nothing to eat between a bag of nuts and a full restaurant meal but apparently this is going to be addressed soon as well. a challenging day out.

A great 6 holes. High quality. The greens are the best I've played in London. I just wish there were 9 and some length was added.

  • 4 out of 5 A great little course!

This is a great little course designed on world famous holes. It only took me an hour or so to play it, so, if like me you are short on time but are looking for a testing round, then i would suggest giving Northwick Park a go.
