Course Description

Lanark is renowned for it's smooth fast greens, natural moorland fairways, and beautiful scenery.

Variously described in golfing publications as a hidden gem and a geological marvel, at 6,428 yards from the Championship tees, the par of 70 can be a real test to any golfer, especially when the prevailing wind blows.

The club has hosted the regional qualifier for the Open Championship eight times in recent years, the Scottish Boys Stroke Play Championship in 2001 and the British Girls Open Championship in 2003.

Lanark Golf Club is one of Scotlands best courses. It is a challenge for even the most skilled of players. The surroundings are really nice. There is also a pro shop. The club house is great, too! It's one of my favourite courses!!!!!
