Greenburn Golf Club

What we say

An interesting West Lothian course, Greenburn Golf Club is a consistently well kept course with no two holes the same.

The challenging mix of 18 parkland and moorland style holes features some tricky holes and some excellent par-3s that make brilliant use of the changing elevations between tees and greens. Some enticing risk-reward par-4 holes will either make or break your round.

The 6067-yard par 71 course now benefits from a new drainage system, keeping the fairways and greens in their best condition all year through.

Facilities are a little dated, but kept in good condition.

Greenburn Golf Club is a tricky and testing 18-hole mix of parkland and moorland course it is 6067 yards Par 71.

Greenburn has been in its present location for over 50 years. The members built the club and its motto - "Per Nostra Opera" (by your own endeavours) - epitomises this spirit.

The golf course is located in the village of Fauldhouse just off the A71 and a short distance from the M8. Visitors and visiting parties are welcome seven days a week with competitive prices on golf and catering.

  • 2.5 out of 5 Decent little course

Not a bad course, good value for money and a good varierty of holes but wouldn't give it 5 stars, Kingsbarns is a 5 star course and this is nowhere near that standard.

  • 4 out of 5 Great Course

This is the best course in the surrounding area. It has many hard holes that can wreck a card due to out-of-bounds. Standing on 18 with a good score, burn short (100 yds) for a duff, OB left, OB right, slight dog leg - brilliant. Lost count of the re-loads and disasters here.
