  • 3 out of 5 GolfBuddy WT4 - Charger

    By Nic

Very nice and good GPS but the way the charger is design makes the charging tricky. One of the pin of the charger broke after just a few uses. I would like to find an other charger. Is any one know where I can buy a replacement ?

  • 2 out of 5 Unstable firmware

    By David

I've had it for 7 months now. It freezes and stop responding. I had it changed 3 months ago and the new device has the same problem. I've managed to avoid crashes but not using the score feature until the end of the matches, but still sometime looses the date, resets to 01/01/2001 and then it behaves randomly until It resins (hours or days later). The only think that works well are the distances, and the only reason why I still use it. Not worth its price!

  • 3 out of 5 Froze

    By Chris

Played around 6 games with watch. If you dont stay on your fairway beware of the distances because it will change holes on you. Now the real problem, played a round and it was overcast watch couldnt lock onto holes then it froze now I cant do anything with it wont even turn off.

  • 3 out of 5 System freezes

    By Tim

I have just received my REPLACEMENT unit but it has the same fault as the first watch. It stops working around the 14/15/16 hole mark depending on the course. When I reset it the missing holes still don't appear. Very disappointed so far.

  • 4 out of 5 Battery connections busted

    By Jon

Battery charger connections are poorly designed. Me and few friends bought 5 No WT4. In 3 months 2 of the battery chargers are broken. Replacement are on order, but these wont last unless a better design has been done.

  • 4 out of 5 Update on review given

    By Cjcgolf

As an update to the review given on the 31st Oct. Golfbuddy supplied a new clip in within a couple of days. The watch and functions are at least 4/5 stars It's the clip on the charger that needs looking at Cjcgolf.

  • 3 out of 5 Nice design, functional development necessary

    By Rob

Design is super, more watch than all the others. Full target and hazard information is not present, at least not in many Dutch courses. I don't know, maybe in courses outside the Netherlands. One time a round of golf the watch will crash, reset necessary. Uploading of scores needs a practial 'work around'. It will not be so easy they suggest. My opinion is that the firmware is not really OK. I wait for an update of it (version 3) and also I'm waiting for updating of a requested course. (7 weeks now).

  • 1 out of 5 Charger clip

    By Golfcjc

I also have the same problem with the clip One of the pins is broken, so cannot charge Still waiting for a replavment.

  • 2 out of 5 Charger could be a problem

    By E-Mail

Have had the wt4 for a week the charger is already a problem with a fault on one of four charging pins so easy to break. the unit is good but for the charger, preferred the old voice unit with direct USB connection. Spares charging units seem to be a problem replacing.

The news about WT4 have been out for a long long time, but when will WT4 be ready for sale? What on earth is happening.
