What we say...

Ping’s “i” range has always been aimed at the better player with high swing speeds looking for workability and a penetrating flight. The new i25 driver offers this in abundance, with a contemporary new look and additional forgiveness thrown in that will even attract some loyal G-series users.

Looking down at address, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the graphics on the crown. In a break from its norm, Ping has added a Le Mans inspired ‘racing stripe’ that’s the same thickness as a golf ball; it’s designed to help you align the face and take the club away on the correct path.

It has a compact 460cc titanium head with high-density tungsten weights in the rear of the sole, which aid resistance to twisting (MOI) on off-centre strikes while moving the centre of gravity low and back. This weight placement helps to reduce spin and create launch conditions closer to the optimum. The clubface itself has variable thickness titanium to deliver high ball speeds from a larger area.

Another great story with this wood line-up is the shaft options. Ping has developed its Performance, Weighting and Responsiveness (PWR) shaft specifically for this driver.

The shafts are geared to change launch and feel based on player needs and offer unique weights and stiffness profiles without altering swingweight.

An adjustable hosel (not available in the i20) allows for half-a-degree of loft to be added or subtracted.
