Ben Hogan is a big brand name in golf, so finding the Ben Hogan C-S3 driver for less than £150 took us by surprise.
Draw, neutral or fade bias driver heads are available, but we had no difficulty controlling the neutral set up. Being the highest-launching club on test with the longest flight time, it has to be highlighted as forgiving. And as joint longest hitter the Ben Hogan CS3 driver can’t be ignored as a powerful option.

    thats 10 strokes and im still a bit of a bandit - according to my mates. since changing to the c-s3 i went from a 28 handicapper to an 18 (im not even 16 yet - 6ft tall though) and i can hit this club over 300 yards on good hits which seem to happen more ofter than not. Driving is by far the best part of my game. Even with my high-ish handicap i can deliberately play either a draw or a fade although my batural shot is a fade - i have the neutral set up. I have also used my mate's sasquatch and actually hit it further with my own c-s3 - it really is a waxa -(tripper slang)

    Forget the big named drivers, this driver has it all at a fraction of the cost. Don`t buy another driver until you have given this a try.

    I never carried a driver because I couldnt handle one. This one stays in the bag however. Dont tee up to high though. Very good shaft.

    After struggling off the tee for years my Pro suggested I try the C-53. I have never been straighter or longer, my playing partners are not impressed! I beleive I'll lose 5 to 6 shots off my handicap this year just by staying straight, Brilliant.

    I had been looking for 3 years for a new driver to replace my Big Bertha VFT. I tried every new driver at any price. Nothing worked better untill this baby. Superb!!!!!!
