What we say...

Nike says: The Vapor Speed driver has the largest and most stable chassis of all the new Vapor drivers, promoting a higher launch angle with less spin.

Technology
It has a lighter headweight and is combined with a lighter stock shaft (50g) to help most golfers increase clubhead speed. The new Compression Channel is deeper in the heel and toe areas compared to the section behind the centre of the face. This creates more face flex on mishits. Nike says tests have shown ball speed gains and higher launch angles away from the sweetspot than Covert 2.0. It’s the longest from front to back of the three Vapor drivers, has a 1.23 per cent deeper face than Covert 2.0 and a lower, more forward centre of gravity.

  • 5 out of 5 Great for sub-100mph swings

    By Brian Muirie

Just been fitted for one of these having tested numerous clubs. As a 6 handicapper with a sub-100mph swing speed, I need to gain more club head speed and less spin from my swing, to access distance gains. The 50g shaft and the head on this are a perfect match - great launch angle and low spin without any loss on dispersion. Got same results as Titleist 915D2 on monitor for half the price (£179 as outgoing model!).

  • 5 out of 5 Great club for all

    By Thedoc

It has great feel light in hand and plenty of control in the swing has good sweet spot and less dispersion just a great club.

  • 5 out of 5 TG Tester Review

    By Joel Cunningham

The low-spin nature of the head meant I had to add loft, creating a strong flight. It’s got the wow factor in looks and performance.

Easy to align. Struggled with face control at times, but the feel at impact was great, incredibly stable even on poor strikes.
